We offer traditional welcoming B&B - convenient for M6 stops, weekends, short breaks and holidays in the Lake District and Eden Valley.
Our open fields give panoramic views to the Pennines to the east and the Lake District fells to the west.
The historic market town of Penrith is four miles away.
Hadrian’s Wall is less than one hour away on the direct route to Northumberland. Kirkby Stephen, Sedbergh and Hawes on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales are also within a hour's drive.
Woodhead is a working farm. We keep 100 Lleyn breeding ewes. We also breed and show fell ponies and Old English Game birds. John enjoys answering questions about the workings of the farm.
